Celebrate Payson's history and enjoy a classic old-time baseball game in Green Valley Park.  The Heritage Festival will include authors, artists, childrens' activities, Native American demonstrations, music, western-themed events in the morning (10:00 am- 1:00 pm) and the Zane Grey Classic Base Ball Game in the afternoon (1:00 - 3:00 pm).

 

The Arizona Territories Vintage Base Ball group (ATVBB) will host the Zane Grey Classic which will be an old-time baseball game using classic equipment, uniforms and old-time rules.  The ATVBB group will play a Payson team and will have activities for the kids in between innings.  Zane Grey's great-grandson Grey Murphy will be here to throw out the first pitch.

 

Food vendors will be on site throughout the day.  While you're there, come and visit the Rim Country Museum and the Zane Grey Cabin and celebrate the Cabin's five year anniversary!
